There are so many options... depends on how SERIOUS you want to get..

you can buy a standard scanner for a hundred bucks, but the best option? Either HP Tuners, Aeroforce Scan Gauges, DHP PowrTuner, or one of the used palm pilot scanners. I would do a SEARCH on this site, there is an abundance of information regarding scanners...

I did do a search and there was nothing specific which is why I posted the thread. Hope to get all kinds of input here and then choose the way to go. Cost isn't an object but I want the best bang for the buck. So please everyone reading this if you have a scanner please post which one you have and your experiences with it.

Thank you

Tom

I got a used LS1M cable off clubgp and a palm unit off ebay, about $100 total. Clears codes and scans for KR among a dozen other things.

If Money isn't an issue, then buy HP Tuners, you can tune, scan, record, and graph, all on your laptop that plugs into the OBDII port.

3800 Performance.com has them under PCM.

Those do the same as an LS1M, but 3x the price. If your going to spend that much, might as well splurge for a tuner.

Ya gotta figure:
Aeroforce gauge: $250
Canned Tune: $100
Total: $350

OR

HP Tuners VCM Suite: $500

Better to spend the extra $150 and get a good tuner IMO.
