And, on page 359: "Taking the place of the aging Celebrity sedan was the Lumina sedan ... a coupe version followed in the fall."

Also, the Lumina shared types (Eurosport), dashboards (flat/horizontal), tail lights (3 square on each side, across the back panel, more or less) and FWD with the Celebrity.....

In addition ... the Monte Carlo was the only one of the cousin names (Buick Regal, Olds Cutlass Supreme, Pontiac Grand Prix) to NOT be slapped on a FWD car IMMEDIATELY after the RWD versions ended in 1987/1988.

to Lumina then back to Monte Carlo but Waaaaay different But let's re-name
the 4-Door MC a Impala or is the MC a two door Impala.......

Too much Government involvement as well.

well i said no 2wd cars do great in the snow. ive drove in nasty snow for about 8 years now. im pretty sure im use to it.

the reason RWD cars a bad getting through the snow is cause only one wheel spins right. unless is has a posi rear end.????????????????

wow i never expected this thread to get this much attention i'm glad it did though.
anyway, i much prefer rwd in the snow to fwd. I've curbed my cobalt do to snow, my sister crashed her fwd elantra a few times in the snow. but i've never wrecked my ford truck 2wd in the snow. driven it through 3 winters.

someday, and i mean super super long time from now. maybe i'll take an 07 monte and do a rwd conversion on it but like i said FAR into the future.
i'm thinking ZR1 LS9
