Rough Idle

RE: Rough Idle
When you start up the RPMS should shoot up a bit and then slowly come down to about 500-600RPM. and stay there.
If the RPMs are going up and down thensomething might be wrong.
Unless you have access to a code reader.
Best bet is to take itto the dealer way too many things could be causing this.
But you can start by cleaning or changing your MAF sensor. Thats an easy thing to do.

RE: Rough Idle
I checked today when I went to work. It idles at around 1000 when it has a rough idle (which only seems to happen every time I start it) by the way i dont think it does anything when the cars in drive, it drives normal.

RE: Rough Idle
I guess you need to define what a "rough idle" is. When a car idles higher sometimes you can feel it shake the car. Are the RPM's shooting up and down, is it missing, does it quit when the car warms up? When the car is cold it will idle at about 1,000 rpms and when it is warm it will idle at 500-600 rpms.
