Default Transmission ???

I have about 108,000 miles on my monte. And I think its time to change the transmission fluid. I don't have my manual that came with the car. So what kind of transmission fluid and how many(quarts)? Thanks.

What transmission do you have? The 4T65e? If so then you need 8 quarts of dextron III. It takes like 7.5 quarts with just a pan drain and filter change. It takes more if you drain the converter but I dont know how much that is.
