Oh okay. Cool, so it's a decent place to order from then? Good to hear

I'm curious, how well does the hood bolt up? Does it feel solid when you lift it or does it feel flimsy?
Any pics of the under body of the hood? Like where it bolts to the hinges and where the hood latch is?

Sorry, I'm nosy

I'll probably have much better pictures when it's all done. The bolts it came with are a little smaller than oem so I just picked up some washers and it went right on. Currently don't have a strut(s) holding it up. The original ones look like they might be welded on the underside of the hood? or some really strong adhesive. (I got the struts off, just not where the attach) So I need to pick those up sometime but I'm not even sure where to look. Unlike the original I'll probably only need one strut since it's so much lighter but I'll more than likely have to buy a pair and just use them both. Feels a little weak to open and close. But I've never been around any other fiberglass hoods so I'm just comparing to stock at the moment.

Years ago, I put a fiberglass Turbo Daytona Hood on my '84 Camaro Z28. I did not like how stiff the stock struts were for the steel hood (felt like I was going to split the hood in two). I removed the struts and use a 2x4 as a prop rod until I could find the answer. In the Camaro's case, I found on the forums, GM had one year they made a composite hood for that generation. I got the part number, a place to order them and that was the perfect fix for the car.

I wonder if you can find what the pressure is on the stock struts and if a company makes replacements that fit like factory but have a lower pressure....

I also would want them in a pair so the hood is lifted and lowered with equal pressure on both sides.
