Your car looks so mean with that hood and i love it man!! It makes me want one of these hoods soo bad now Looks great!

 

Nice sinister effect the hood gives your Monte....... The rails work, never knew what people saw in them. But your picture angles gives me the 'Ah ha!" moment, they really add to the cars aerodynamic visual effect. Nice job, best of luck with the rest of the project... red would look trick, but then you open a whole new can of worms by introducing a 3rd color..

 

Thanks! Might be my last visual mod though besides maybe some darker tint. Probably going to have a few more people ask whats under the hood now so I need to get it going performance wise lol.. that will come with time though

Thanks. I totally agree with the roof rail thing. I didn't see it at all at first. But after running across a few good angles of them here on the forum I started to like them. The flat black does kind of have a sinister effect lol. Looks pretty sinister from the drivers seat as well I like the subtle red SS on the front but like you said that third color on something like the hood might be too much.

Hood is also available at LINK---> 00-05 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Dual Ram-Air Hood (Fiberglass) - Ground Dynamics No idea on what kind of website that is so I don't exactly recommend it. Couldn't really find any reviews of it so I don't want sound like I'm promoting them or anything, just a place that I found offering the hood lol.

i got my hood from them... ya it's a legitimate place but i ordered a duraflex hood and received a straight fiberglass one, oh well it looks the same but i cant open the scoop because i know the thing would explode before i top out
