Well today was interesting, ran into some unforseen issues. Had a piece of paint chip of the reflectors and the shrouds didn't fit as planned. Also, when I removed the reflectors a small ball joint broke and is unfixable since they're completely custom. These things are being taken car of, but I have gotten one done and basically ready to be mounted and aligned, so here are some pics, the other is to come tomorrow if all goes as planned:

The shrouds are at a weird angle in the pics, I have since trimmed them and repainted them to fit correctly.

I think you mentioned this already. But are you going to be able to adjust them once their installed? I mean adjust them so the light is aimed at the road, and not sending out the bat-signal into outer space.

I knew a guy on the Grand Am forum I used to be on, that retrofitted his headlights. He tried to aim them before cementing them into place permanently, then finished his fibreglas work. Aiming fail. His headlights were searching for owls in the trees. He couldn't adjust the assembly enough to correct it.

But I'm pretty sure you were smart enough to think of that before you started.

haha yeah, mine will be fully adjustable, the projector isn't mounted permanently and won't even be tightened until I get both beams to sit sit exactly where I want them

How are you going to make them adjustable?

Yours aren't adjustable? Mine are still connected and adjustable through the original adjustment screw.

The actual projector is adjustable, or the headlight housing is adjustable? My individual projectors are not adjustable no, but the whole headlight assembly is adjustable. I think Taz was getting at if the individual projectors would be adjustable inside the headlights, that way if you installed them on the car without properly aligning them first, you would not be able to correct the bad aim with the stock adjustment screws of the headlight housing.

I will be able to adjust the leveling and the height of the beams when they are sealed. Adjusting the leveling may be somewhat of a pain, but you can just loosen the nut and twist them little by little.

Very cool. So once again.. what's the plan to make them adjustable? I've seen some variations of adjustable projectors. I did not include this adjustment in mine for simplicity. When I did it, I mounted the headlights to the car and then centered them. Then I mounted the projectors in the housings at the height and level I wanted them at. Then when I sealed them up they were aimed exactly where I wanted them, yet I still had some adjustability with the stock housing adjustment screws.

You used the H1's right? The nut can still be loosened and the whole project can be spun regardless of the lens being sealed or not.
