slp? slp does not come with resonator. you have the cat and i don't see why wouldn't you pass the emission. if no check engine light come on you should be fine.

The resonator has nothing to do with emissions. You should be fine without it.

resonator all it does is tone down the exhaust sound. if you do get the slp which doesn't come with resonator it sound good.

Yep, I have that system on my 05 and I like the sound. The only thing that the resonator does is make inside the cabin quieter. But, I like the sound of a loud exhaust so I don't mind it.

As stated above, you'll be fine without it.

So removing the resonator just makes the car louder...nothing else? I'm concerned about removing mine, the 3.8's are notorious for sounding like chainsaws when too much tweaking to the exhaust is done.

I have CAI, Plog, Downpipe w/highflow cat, no resonator, stock mufflers and it sounds really mean, I love it. The heatshield on my resonator was loose and slightly rusted and was making a tin rattling sound when accelerating so I just had them cut it off and run straight pipe.
