Default Replacement Tires

Anyone think these will look good on a Pace car SS?

There's nothing wrong with the tires on the car. We just thought we'd like these better. And we like the Nascar name on the tires.

I am a bit concerned about performance of these tires versus what's currently on the car.

Like this one?

I've seen a lot of 6th gen Monte's with those Nascar tires. Mostly the special editions like the pace cars, signature series, etc...

I looked into buying a set of those for myself. But Goodyear only makes them in 16" now.

Don't know about the performance of those tires, but the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's that came factory on my Monte (and my previous car too) blow big-time! Replaced 'em with a set of Toyo Versado's about a month ago.

The Goodyear Eagle #1 are a performance tire. So I would guess that they do awesome on dry pavement, not so good on wet, horrible in snow. But that would be just my guess.

Use two sets one in the summer the other in the winter.

I think they'd look good on the car.

But............. I don't want the car to handle poorly either.

I think you'll be okay with 'em. But I would get some winter tires and rims. When the winter weather comes around, simply swap your current rims with the Nascar lettered tires, for some cheap winter rims with snow tires already mounted.
