Probably just a bunch of body panel clips... I know when I had the rocker repaired on my 03 ls they had to replace a couple because they're easy to break. How does the new kit attach? The door panel might just be glued on for both though.

See if their website of the body kit manuf. has downloadable instructions... lots of sites have stuff like that, which can be a real help when trying to prepare for putting it on.

Thanks, i got the kit on the otehr day, if you wanna check it out its in the general section.

And for just general info, yes the side skirts are taken off with about 8-10 clips udner the car, and screws in the wheel well, and then it has pop clips inseide the door, real pita, but it'll come off

Ahh, as I figgured. Sorry the help didn't come sooner! Not a lot of body ppl on here, quite a few mechanics tho... wether they're trained and working or simply backyard tinkerers there's lots of ppl here that are smart about the mechanical side of things.

I've been trying to decide wether to paint, or replace my side skirts... did you break any in the removal of ur stock piece?

The clips yes, about three or four each side, but i wasn't reusing them so it wasn't a problem

I am putting the razzi kit on my car in about a month. One option you could consider is buying my SS ground effects. If you paint the stock ground effects when you get rock chips it will be the original color of the ground effects that shows through.

How much would you want for the factory FX? I've always thought about going to those, and I wouldn't worry about rock chips etc. I would use a matte paint job and cover it with 3m paint protector tape to prevent chips etc. Same stuff they use on the rolled under portions of truck fenders so the paint doesn't all come off due to rock chips.

I don't think I could make it out to wyoming to pick it up, so I wonder how much shipping would be on top... hmmm

I don't think my stock side skirts would fit ur car??? Cuz you have a sixth gen monte?

Also i only took off the side skrits and door panels, the rest stayed on cuz the FX just attached to the stock stuff
