removing spoiler. am i biting off more than i can chew?
everytime it rains, or i wash my car.. dirt and mud run out from under the spoiler, and leave streaks down the back of the car. im guess it has something to do with having a dirt driveway, and using alot of dusty dirt roads in the summer.
so, i decided im just gonna take the spoiler off so i can clean under it, and then put it back on. (since spraying the hose under it dont help)
is this gonna be more trouble than its worth?

Which spoiler do you have, the standup or the surfboard?
I don't know how the smaller standup is attached, but I know the Surfboard is attached by 4 bolts AND an adhesive, you will pull up your paint on the trunklid when you try to take it off, this could be okay and not seen, but it could also pull your paint in a way that it is visible when you put your spoiler back on.
I wouldn't do it.

I wouldn't do it. Instead, i would take a pressure washer, (either your own, or one of the self-serve car wash) and spray under it from the front to back. I had to do this with my Old bonneville that has a spoiler similar to the surfboard. Most of the time I just used my regular hose, as it seemed to have enough push to do it. There is adhesive there, but sometimes it isn't across it all and dirt can get trapped in there.

I agree with the other posts, I would NOT do it. Besides the adhesive, I don't know if the studs on the spoiler are plastic or not.... If so, I would REALLY not do it (as they are made for 1-2 uses). I broke a couple of studs to IROC hood louvers, taken them off to was the car. Won't do that again....
