Just installed a new Delco battery and now the key fob remote does not work.
Doors and trunk work fine.
Any suggestions it is a 2007 SS.

 

Your Remote for your remote starter may need to be reprogramed ?

Maybe the battery is in need of replacement in the remote. Mine are always in need of a new battery.
So even if it says it is good on the tester I will replace it every year.


If that doesn't do the trick then you might need to consult the owners manual and get it reprogramed.


It depends on the year how that works but if you have a newer style it sometimes programs thru the radio.
Then if the original radio is no longer in the ride this could be a challenge.

check the remote start settings in the radio, having the battery out could have reset them to another setting. If there are any check engine lights on remote start will not work.
