Default Regal Climate Control

I believe the Monte & Buick Regal are both W-body's & share many components. I wonder if they also share the wiring harness for the Climate Controls?

No, NOT a stupid question. It is something I had never considered so definitely did not know the answer. An interesting question that, if true, could open lots of possibilities.

Far from a stupid question. I am sorry I missed this question, as you got me intrigued!
So, the mounting is a little different where the holes are. I am sure there are easy ways to over come that. The connector is not the right shape.... OK, well, you can always re-pin it. there are ways to safely remove pins from the connectors and then slide and lock them into a new connector. But I believe the biggest issues, looks like the regal had some extra options. I am guessing interior temp sensors. If so, then you would also have to add those missing sensors. But that would be a neat in the end if it works, as it looks like you can set the temp to a desired temp and the HVAC unit will keep you at that temp (instead of getting too hot or two cold, it will auto control that). Could be a very nice mod!!

If you are interest in it, start doing more research. You might be on to something others have interest in!
