yah, i think slotted rotors would be a good look for your car

i've always thought any vehicle that puts aftermarket rims on it should put slotted rotors on, and since you live south where you dont have salt and snow (like me) you dont have to worry about them rusting and looking like shiaaat

When I got my new rotors I spent a little extra and got the cadmium plated ones. After over a year they still show no signs of rust. Of course the part the pads ride on have slight rust when i don't drive it for a while, but that goes away almost instantly when I drive it.
