I have a 2002 monte carlo ss with the stock radiator and im trying to find out how much coolant and water i can put in it to make it 50/50. Like how many ounces or gallons of coolant and water to put into the radiator... I wanna do a flush because im at 140,000 and Im not sure if the previous owner of the car did it or not, i know i havent done one...

 

it should say in the owners manual

3.1L and 3.4LOHV....11.6Qts. 3.4L DOHC....12.3Qts 3.8L....11.6Qts it says on the coolant how to mix. these are the capacities for Monte Carlo's from 95-05.

 

Ok thanks, i ended up getting the premixed 50/50. The guy at pepboys said there is no such thing as dexcool 50/50 but his coworker corrected him and showed me the way to it... And they took $2 off!!! For customer service I give pepboys an A+ but from what ive heard their automotive service, sucks lol
