Default Quick question on 80's Monte SS.

I'm looking now for an 80's Monte but have a question on some SS.

Do some MC have the front wheel well different than others? Some are arched while others are not. This I just notice on google pictures not from an actual car. Could it be just the angle of the picture?

Default '80s monte ss's

I owned in the past a 1984 Monte SS H.O. in the gun metal blue color, in '83 and '84 they only made white and blue ones I believe? I also had a '87 SS not a H.O. had overdrive. basically they were both the same car except for minor details like tail lights, rear spoiler, wheels etc. I am pretty sure all of the 80's models were the same as far as body panels, no different wheel wells, body lines except for the aero coupes rear glass?? my '87 seemed bigger but I don't think it was really!!

Hi `Noe,
It's great to see you online & that you are looking
for 4th Gen Monte
I believe it's the angle of the photo that you observed.
Good Luck on finding the Monte you desire.

Look forward to seeing you more often online.
How's your present Monte running ?

Thanks for the answer. I thought it was only the angle.

Space, the Monte is at 108K is good but the power steering is taking in air. Once I fix that its been great but need a V8 now. Keeping the blue though.

I've had 15 of the 80's SS montes. Still have an 86 aerocoupe.
All montes from 81-88 use the same pieces SS or non. That's why it's so easy to clone an SS version. Just minor cosmetic changes as previously mentioned.
But the SS versions were all 5.0 h.o engines unless it was swapped.
