Restoration: No Bone Yards for JC

No Bone Yards for JC
I am so Jealous of all you Guy/Gals who have Bone Yards in your area with 6th Gen parts. If I find a bone yard that has a Monte the car is usually an LS. Which is ok except I am always looking for SS specific parts. Then, when someone is selling something I need, my pockets look at me and cough up Dust! Sometimes I feel like I am never going to get my restore done. I can't wait to move to Seattle. I here the Bone Yards there always have SS's!!!!!!!

Thanks guys. If any of you happen to come across a Good (Yellow) rear Bumper cover, let me know what they want for it.
Don't buy it cause I have to be sure I have the $$$. Just, let me know the cost! Thanks......

I do have a friend that frequents a few boneyards almost on a daily basis for his job..
I will put that on my list and see what he can come up with and how much

I can keep an eye out up here for you as well I know there are a couple yellow monte's for sale on my local kijiji one was just outside of my town but there is a junk yard fairly close by that advertises on their website about what new cars they get in so I will keep an eye out and let you know, their prices are ridiculously cheap as you have to pull the parts yourself, but it may be worth your while if the part is cheap enough and can be shipped at a good price.

JC:
I know you mentioned to find a yellow one...
My friend happens to be going to the junkyard as we speak....
He does know of a black one..if your interested in it..
Hes also going to get a price on it. To at least give you some idea what the cost is..
Let me know if this will fill your need.

JC if you're ever up for a roadtrip jump on route 80 into PA, to 81 south and try harry's u pull it in hazelton. they are a mostly late model junkyard, over 100 acres of every vehicle imaginable. not overgrown, all the cars are up off the ground, and they rotate the cars out on a very regular basis, up to 600 cars at once will get crushed and replaced with new inventory to pick over. they even rent wagons to haul your junk around in, lol. it's a pretty crazy yard, worth the drive even if you don't find anything.
