Question about my Vin
I have a 2003 Victory Red MCSS High Sport. When my insurance company sent me my ID cards they say the car is a Jeff Gordon Edition. I called and asked the insurance company about this. They say thata what the Vin comes back as. My insurance company is Hagerty. According to the Vin report Victory Red is the correct color of the car. I don't understand how it also comes back as a Jeff Gordon Edition. Any one have any ideas ? As my research shows the JG Edition only comes in Sapphire Blue.

Any sign of it being painted? No way was a JG car red.
Its supercharged, correct? JG cars were also not SC.
My insurance does something similar with my 300zx. They note it as a 50th anniversary edition when it is not.
We also have a VIN lookup here on the website. Right up there ^^^ in 'tools'.

I had something like this come up recently. I have a 2000 Chevrolet S10 Xtreme, with Geico it was incorrectly listed by the vin number as a 2000 Chevrolet S10 LS. I mentioned it to the agent but they were sure that it was correct. With Progressive it came back as an Xtreme.
