*Special Edition Monte Carlo Owners* please help! No certificate with my Tony Stewart
Hey everybody, I introduced myself to everyone last week (thanks for the love). I'm buying a 2005 Tony Stewart Monte Carlo in a couple days. It's beautiful but I was disappointed that there was no number 20 plate holder with it (I can live with that since they pop up online sometime according to this forum) but I was VERY disappointed that there was no number certificate of authenticity with the car either. Carmax has no idea and can't really help. I guess the guy could've kept it for himself. So the question is, can I find out my # out of 1020 through a database or something on the internet? Thanks for any help

Yea ^^^ that number. Have your VIN ready and let them know you have a special edition car. They will send you a letter very similar to this:
And make sure you ask to put the vin, sequence and models produced on it so it looks nicer
Nice car by the way! The tony stewart ones are amazing!

In 2005 I was drooling over that car on the showroom floor in a Rochester (NY) dealership when I was closing the deal on buying my ( now ex) wife a new Malibu. That Fall on the way home from the Watkins Glen race I stopped at a restaurant for dinner and low and behold, an elderly couple was just exiting their car, the Tony Stewart edition. I complimented the gentleman on his ride and he snickered and looked at his wife while saying, it's not mine, it's hers! It ended up being the same exact car I seen in the showroom. It was and still is a sweet ride! Best of luck with your new toy! Alittle envy here !
