No A/C issues....

The water pump started leaking at 65K, and the power steering pump went at 72K...

 

I bought my 98 out of desperation, I needed a car. I never even knew how MUCH I wanted that car, or how BADLY I would fall in love with it, until I sat in her seat! Yes she was a wreck, she was FIXED and then two weeks later after the new paint job WHACK she was totaled. I was so in love that I bought my 2000 LS at 185 K she now has 190K and she is running strong as the day she was new! YES at some point your tranny WILL need replaced / rebuilt but you will NEVER find another car that looks as sexy as the monte, NOR does it ride as comfortable!!!

My car is a HEAD TURNER, and most of the work I've done on it. Except the axles and everything that did get replaced BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS OWNERS ABUSED HER. Take care of it, and she'll take care of you.

 

Hey My 05 has 70 000k. 2nd owner I bought it at 55 000k. No major problems Had issue with Coil Pack. 80 bucks fix that. But sadly Its been attempted theft once and the tow truck driver either Droped my car or used flat deck and didnt know what he was doing...

 

We had a 99 and a 2002...both were great. Past tense -- but only because we wanted to try a non-GM product for awhile. Don't know if we wiill go back to GM at all...not much of interest in their auto fleet right now.

 

I got my MC ss 02 at the beginning of the year and since the only things that I've had to spend money on were due to my own idiocy. I've checked myself so I won't be wrecking myself again!!!! The car runs strong and true, sounds are all good and love to take it for drives. (I can't do long drives anymore due to back and knee problems .
