Got bored tonight, so sanded off the paint, sanded down the metal, apparently my polishishing stuff is not here so had to work with what I had, but I think it turned out decent, IDK if i'll do the other or just paint it back to black,
I'll get a pic of it on the car tomarow
I need to get a dremel so I can get a few spots better
The insperation for this was from frank's junkyard find thread where he polished out some aluminum mount, people where wondering what a w body mount would look like polished out looked like so I thought hell If it's metal it can be polished
Aluminum is so much more forgiving tho...!

Thanks guys, IDK if i like it or not, sure would look cleaner without those nubs but that's how they joined the 2 layers of metal they are made from

It looks really nice, a mirror finish! Now, don't you have to coat it with something like clear coat to prevent it from rusting??
