You can see in this pic it's not quiet a mirror finish, but again I did not have my polishing wheel and compound, this is finished with 2000 wetsand and hand polished with mothers mag and aluminum polish

You can seal it using a metal sealant but if I plan on keeping it i'll clearcoat them so I don't have to worrie about pulling it off time and time again beign I live in a salt state!

Only half serious there.. the look better in the pics than they are, but I'm not 100% done

These are a giant pain in the ares becuase they are steel and pressed, not verry forgiving,

Take your time and take your time with each step up with your sand paper, make sure to get any of the previous sanding marks are gone all the way up to 2000 grit,

Right now I just have hand polished but will machine polish soon,

Pick a polishing kit from harbor freight and use a drill to turn the buffing wheel, or if you have the money and plan on doing a lot get one that is on a stand
