Hey I'm new on here this is my first post but i get all my info here so thought might aswell sign up. So I Have a 03 SS Pace Car Limited Edition but its giving all the typical passlock issues (Wont Crank, security light comes on, etc.) so i was wondering if anyone had used this product called the EVO-ALL (Security Bypass Module) because poppin the hood with my lady friend is getting really old and I'm pulling up nice music bumping but then gotta go under the hood to leave (Not Cool). I dont have a remote starter which it seems this was designed for but will it still work? Thought I spend $70 before i fork out 3-5 hundred to the dealership.

 

Never experimented with it. I had the issue from my remote start that would lock up the system and I had to go the dealership route and get a new ignition cylinder installed.

 

Would your car start after disconnecting the battery? I found a car alarm & audio shop that said could do some rewiring to bypass passlock.

 

Leaving the key in the "On" position for 10 minutes reset the system in mine and allowed me to start it with the key. I never tried disconnecting the battery. Check and see how much they'd charge to bypass passlock. Bypassing it can be a major PITA which could easily rack up labor.
