oh yea, i did all the work from sanding original color to adding new color. if the prep is bad, the new will be bad.

i had to make extra sure it was good too cuz the bottom a dark dark dark purple pearl.

i see your a paintin OG so i highly apreciate the advice

very nice man. im glad to see its being done the right way it looks good to me.
do u have some wheels for it? how long did it take to sand and buff that sucker. if it were me i would spend one day sanding and one day buffing and polishing. VERY NICE i applaud u.

no wheels. i'm not much of a rim person, although i dig the heck out the style. if i throw some on it'll be 18s...MAYBE 20s

it took about a 2 weeks sanding it down my self by hand..not much time with work an all. one day i will sand out the little imperfections an re spray the bumpers. then i''ll reclear the whole car again. just got to save up the cash for materials!

that really looks badass!! i love the "oil slick" type color. i love the way you did the color in the arch on the trunk too. definitely needs a spoiler to complete the badass look!!

I know you aren't a RIMS guy..

but you have to admit those stock ones do not do the car any justice at all.

Even if you just got the 06-07 (08 impala) SS rims, in some chrome it will still give a stock look but not over the top rim look.
