I have an appointment at 9:00am tomorrow to get the Onstar looked at again. I drove the car yesterday and when I first started it, the light was red. I drove 30 miles and the light stayed red the entire time. I did some errands and started the car up again and it was green but soon turned red again. I drove about 13 miles to another store. When I left to go back home, the light stayed green the entire 20 miles back.

My luck, the light won't be red tomorrow and they won't be able to find what is wrong. This is an intermittant problem that is driving me crazy.

Well, as I knew it would be, they could not find anything wrong. Of course the light was green when I took it in so it figures. There was a code stored that points to the Onstar cell antenna but they still could not pinpoint why it had malfunctioned.

The code was a B2470. I guess if the antenna loses signal for more than a second, it can set this code off. I don't know why they would set it up like this. I guess I will just have to wait until it turns red again and hopefully I have the time to take it in and they have the time to look at it.
