Oil filter caps with the intakes on them

Default Oil filter caps with the intakes on them

What do you all think about them an whats there purpose if air can dry the oil up I need help with this one!!

You don't need one. They're for cars with the PCV blocked off for intercooled setups.

Ok I have a few people I know who have them an I was wondering what they was using them for an what was there purpose

Many people put them on either for looks, or because they mistakenly think it will increase performance. Like nitehawk said, you don't need one.

If you put one on, you will most likely throw a MAF code.

I made one when my pcv valve went bad. Works good.

I wonder if anyone has ever thought of using this with intercooler cores that have blocked PCV?
