You guys ever use the Turtle Wax Black Box on your cars? I just bought it - gonna wake up early tomorrow before the weather gets too hot and do the whole shebang. Looking forward to the outcome. Pics to follow

Not a huge fan of that black box. From my experience its just a black filler that makes your car look great until you wash it for a few times and then the scratches all come back as it wears off

For best results I recommend a good DA such as a porter cable polisher, along with Meguiars ScratchX 2.0, follow that with some Meguiars polish and NXT 2.0 and you'll be glad you did! I can honestly say that I was extremely impressed with the results on my Monte from those products. Won't use anything else except Zaino

Here's a few pics right after that detail session.

See the reflection of the ground from my Monte vs. my buddy's Cobra, he used the black box and other turtle wax products on it and it doesn't look so great. Despite his car being extremely fast mine def. attracted more attention at that car show.

I honestly wouldn't use that Black Box stuff on my Monte. I'd return it if you can.

Naw, I can't return it - already opened the box/it was from Amazon. I'll give it a shot tomorrow anyway just because I have it available and I wanted to wash it and wax it anyway, but I did see some of those Meguiar's products while I was shopping around. I'll pick some up before the next time I detail the car. Thanks for the tip!

I'm actually pretty happy with the way the black box turned out! It may have only covered up the scratches instead of fixed them, but it DOES look pretty great. I was very meticulous
