our cars use dexcool which is orange........but alot of people just use standard green coolant

There is a very obvious difference between refridgerant dye and coolant. If its bright green and thicker, its the dye, if its watery and very pale green (if you are even using regular coolant) its coolant. Look under the car for the source of the leak. If you cant find it, get a black light and shine it under the car. The dye glows under a blacklight and the source of your leak will be much easier to find.
