so i got a text from the guy who bought my 01 and ask if i want to buy the wrecked xj back. trying to hear back what his insurance said. i did told him he better off part out cuz the unibody on the xj frame is probably cracked and not fixable. i told him i'll buy both axles, seats, and all the recovery point armors. this would be a good deal that won't break my bank account if he ok it.

went to see my 2001 after math, wow what a sad site to look at. the the suspension are all mangle up. that's probably took the most hardest hit. the pass fender and header panel weren't that bad, the good thing is that he have a non running 1997 xj at his drive way. i told him to swap the body parts and axle to it. 97-01 are interchangeable. the rest of the suspension he's buying new cuz he's going to upgrade to bigger lift.
new yorker/lebaron hood vents still look good!!
lumina hood vents i sold to local jeeper, i think they ugly looking lol.

i didn't do a whole lot on my jeep cuz it's freaking cold. im only fixing little small stuff that suppose to be working. i was driving around with cold feet the last 3 weeks with no heater blowing on floor or vents. found a broken vacuum line that was broked. only cost $1.49 for the rubber hose. yeaaahh i can wiggle my pinky toes again no more cold feet.
fixed.
i love the new yorker/lebaron hood vents on a xj. i had a pair but sold it didn't think i was getting another xj. bad move.
these vents are just as hard to find as the roof rails on the 3800 cars. i got from a member off the cherokee form. pretty decent price i saw they go as high as $125 that's why i grab it before it hit that high again.
i did hit the jy this weekend and got some #703 neon injectors for upgrade they soak in seafoam right now. the stock xj injectors have single fuel hole open. the neon have 4 holes. which spray fuel evenly, smoother idle, throttle respond, and maybe little bit help with gas mileage. they plug and play to hook up. 98 and earlier xj use #703 and 99-01 use #784 injectors. the injectors came off different years of the neon, stratus, breeze, sebring, and caravan. they cheap upgrade.

was at joann fabric today trying to find cool looking fabric for my headliner. i was hoping to find chicago blackhawks logo. blackhawks=cherokee kinda go together. the store said they don't sell trade mark
they didn't have lot of good choice fabrics. i was gonna get skull head and roses but the skull look cartoonish not my cup of tea. i couldn't decide between these two camo.
i went with this one. had them cut 5.5" x 7' and 2 can of 3m adhesive spray glue from walmart. total cost $52. i'll see how i feel this weekend if i want to work on. we're still getting hit by this artic blast weather.

thanks. i got too much going on with the jeep and the t/a. i think im going to hold off on the lift kit until the t/a is done first. i can still mod the xj little by little but im not going to blow my money on it like the 2001 lol.
