I posted this as an additional reply in another thread, & got didly-squat for relipies ... so figured I would just start a topic ...
Are there different "ELM 327"s for different vehicle manufacturers?![Confused](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)
I am most interested in a Bluetooth unit that I can use with my phone, or with an adaptor on my laptop, etc., but can I purchase somethign like this >>> eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices <<< & utilize it not only on my 'Carlo, but my Pop's Buick Century? My Mom's Eclipse? Friend's BMW?

i'm pretty interested in this too. But as far as i know its like an OBDII scanner, should work in any car with an OBDII port. What app were you gonna get for you phone? I had a topic for car apps somewhere, thats probably the one you posted in

I use it mostly for clearing codes, trans temp, intake temp, coolant temp, volts, and 0-60
. There is a huge list of things it will monitor probably over 100. some can be a little tricky to get working but once you get it working it always works really good. I had trouble with the trans temp for awhile.
