no cold start

07 ssmc,no start in morning when cold turns over fuel pump buzzing no start.later in day come home from work starts right up,code 1682 sets.car does turn over with fuel pump buzzing,sounds like crank sensor.online info aims at faulty ignition switch,any thoughts on this problem.thanx
