Default A nice surprise

Was browsing cars in the neighborhood and found this sitting in the back lot, rotting in the woods.
Talked to the owner, still runs but needs a fuel pump, although only has a 350 under the hood. He's thinking about selling it, i thought, why not a good 454 restoration job! Would take yearss and lots of $, but so worth it. Hope he sells it ill ****** it and store it til i can restore it!

Took a good one of me a Black Licorice today too!!

That looks like a great resto-mod project. Just look it over closely for rust and rot out...especially if it's been sitting for any amount of time.

doesn't look like too bad of a restore if it didn't rot out, engine and trans probably tires and you've got yourself a running Monte

It doesn't look like it has been sitting that long. I hope you can buy it.

Several years ago I found a '57 Chevy 2 dr ht about 1/2 mile from me. It had been sitting so long trees were growing around the engine but he wouldn't sell it. "I'm going to fix it up for my wife." Yeah, right! It's gone now. I never found out what happened to it.
