Newest upgrades & repairs to my 97 Monte
Hello all, sorry I don't get over here very often anymore. Anyway...I just had a few things done to my purple 1997 Monte that I would like to share! First and most important, I had the rust underneath the fuel door repaired and the entire quarter was repainted (blended just above side rear window). With that, a brand new "Monte Carlo" emblem on the side bottom was installed. Then, I had my $10 junkyard spoiler painted and installed. Next, I had some silver double line (tape style) pinstripes put on, along the body line from back to front and had my door edge touched up (it was down to bare metal, when my aunt had the car, she would hit the door on her house and it took the paint off!) I also got the remainder of the paint to do any touch ups at my own leisure. Lastly, I went to the junkyard and found a W-Body Olds Cutlass Supreme and got the leather wrapped gear shift handle. Bottom was a little too long, it wouldn't go into first gear, so I had to grind some plastic off of the bottom - all good now! Anyway...here is everyone's favorite part...picture time!!

Paint & body work credit, and a big thanks to Motor City Rod Shop in Melvindale, MI to make this happen!
