Default New thermostat

I have a 2002 monte carlo and ive been having a problem with heat coming through the vents while its on "0" and its in the blue so I decided to head over to zzperformance.com and buy a new t-stat. I chose the 180 degree drilled t-stat. I got it and installed it in a hour and I noticed that when im driving the temp still goes to the half way mark but no heat from the vents and the air also blows a little cooler. I wasnt amazed until i pulled in my garage and turned the air on 4 while in park, and I noticed the temP gauge going down waaaaaaaay faster than it use to which is a winner in my book. But anyway I just wanted to share my experience with you guys

Because you didn't alter the temperature at which your fan speeds turn on, you will notice in traffic, or stop and go, etc. that your temperature will still go to the "normal" range.
