I didn't have good luck with my brakemotive. I got a year out of the rotors and the insides got chewed up.

Outsides looked fine, brakes looked fine, the the inside of the rotor just went south.

But I appear to be one of the few, so just keep an eye on it whenever you rotate your tires

Oh that's good to know I will keep that in mind for sure. They should wear too quick for me as little as Iactually drive it.

These rotors did warp on me too over time, but they lasted a pretty good chunk of time...but so did everything else I tried. The only rotors I have awesome luck with that don't warp at all are the CRYO treated ones. But those are pretty expensive.

Now personally, I would throw away the ceramic pads they gave you with the rotors and go buy some better quality pads. The pads they provided wore out quicker than anything else i've ever used. Stock rear pads lasted 130K, these pads lasted 50K on the REAR. Front pads I got less than 30K out of...and all other pads i've every used on my car I get upwards of 60K on front pads. So expect half the life with the provided ceramics.
I tend to be the same way. The rotors I have now are warped bad from the end of last year. I think I will give the pads they gave me a shot since it's not really wear life I am worried about since I only put 5-7k miles on a year they should last a few but that is a short life at 30k

well I got them on. decided to go with black/silver for the calipers and brackets. I didn't get a picture of the back ones though. They are the same concept though. I think they look pretty good.

First off "The shocker" your monte is very sexy!

I got very similar Rotors for my rears... I really needed them since my old ones looked like rotten metal XD.

I also purchased Zinc coated rotors which have been great as well... with minor squeaking at low speeds. Mine were from Breakperformance.

The silver looks super nice!

Thank you! I am curious to see how these work when I actually get it out and drive it. From just moving it around the garage and driveway the pads look like they have some breaking in to do. My old ones didnt look too bad but they were warped. I kept them just incase I might turn them and have a back up set.

My old front rotors were really warped!... from racing and break I think. I actually ran them a lot longer than I should have! Driving from Edmonton Alberta to Golden BC was a scary drive as every time I went down a hill my car would shudder and there a hill that's about 6 Miles long and pretty steep.

I decided before I actually made a moved from Edmonton to Vernon BC (8.5 Hours) I would actually change them and it was the best decision I ever made... last thing I needed was to lose my breaks going down a hill.

seems like a good idea it is all pretty flat ground around here but my fronts would make the car shudder especially when they got warmed up.
