i spent $85 at autozone today, $30 on new wiper blades and the rest on cleaning products. i bought a clay bar kit, a big bottle of the meguiar's quick detailer, some meguiar's interior detailer, turtle wax spray on wax and some other stuff. and a new air freshener . i came home and spent about a half an hour with the quick detailer and a microfiber cloth, and tony looks grrrrreat!!! cleaned most of the interior (minus the seats and the carpets) and lastly shined up the tires. took some pics, let me know what you think.

i have the water/condensation issue in the drivers side headlight, i am going to have the body shop fix it, since it only started when i got it back from them. it annoys the crap outta me though.

 

Looks great for sure! Reminds me of how much mine needs sanded and buffed. Mine used to look that good at one point.

thanks guys! i will be getting new brakes and rotors soon, maybe i'll get some new calipers too. my boss is paying for the brakes and rotors though, so i don't know if i can squeeze the calipers out of him too, lol.

noah, it is my DD, believe it or not. but i keep it clean, wash it at least once every 2 weeks (usually more) and do everything possible to keep it looking good. while washing it yesterday i did notice some small chips and yuckiness in the paint, but nothing overly noticeable that i was completely freaked about.

space, that "dirty" look that tony stewart keeps is very very sexy...he looks weird when he's clean-shaven to me. we are trying to get him to make an appearance at tucson raceway park (my boss just bought it) in november, if we land him i'll get to be his "person" at the track. i hope he doesn't plan on shaving that day. i'll be sure to offer him my personal services, hahaha. thanks for that pic, it's hilarious!

of course, it rained today, so there goes that. grrrrr. it's supposed to be kind of nice this weekend and no rain so i'll just have to go over it again. my original idea was to clay bar it and wax it, so we'll see how that goes.
