One thing to keep in mind if/when you replacethe factory radio. The 2000+ Monte Carlos use the factory radio for the cars chimes, warning bells,and OnStar (if so equipped).You'll likely lose these when youinstall your new stereo. But to most people, this isn't a big issue.
