Just wondering, when you guys get a new car what do you do to it first?

I ALWAYS mod the audio system first. I have to have good tunes....psssh, I could have a red wagon on wheels and be happy as pie so long as it's got a nice sounding stereo system in it!

So how about you? Do you mod your car in any particular order like me? How do you decide what to do first?

 

i usually do both, with my monte now i did stereo first because i had that at the time, then i quickly got into performance and then visual, and now it just comes all whenever i get the time for it

I did my stripes first...then the CAI

 

1. Intake
2. Exhaust
3. Wheels
4. Stereo
5. Small performance/looks things here and there.

Usually dont go any further than that. Never had the money or a vehicle worth throwing alot of money into.

 

Whatever I feel like doing at the time lol. Last car was extra driving lights this one was new bumper covers

 

Performance then performance then some performance and as much weight reduction as I'm comfortable with

 

I try for the most expensive things first, then the rest falls into place.

 

CAI and exhaust.

 

I think it depends on what's important to you. I think the most popular first mod is the audio system. Especially since the Monte's stock system didn't allow for an MP3 input.

But personally, I'm more into performance. My first mod is the air intake, then exhaust.
