Any-1 know what a (FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM TRIM COVER) is ?? At least thats what I think it is! I'll try and explain where its located in my 99 Mt Carol 3.1>>> its aluminum, shaped almost like the exhaust pipe right under it, and the T-stat is right over it. Has 4 bolts 2 on each end, its about 24-30 inches long, "I THINK" its a coolant line that starts from the top of the water pump and runs along the front of the engine and over this COVER or what ever its called. I'd like to know if this thing is necessary or can I eliminate it. can any-1 HELP?
