My top speed
#12
I topped out the Monte Carlo while racing before and tried to confuse the computer like I've heard works to go faster but it didn't work. It was a lot of fun though but upsetting that I couldn't go faster than this import who looked to be topping out right where I was.
The fastest I've ever gone was in my Firebird Formula (now sold, probably for the best, I'm still alive haha). I went about 170ish, maybe a little lower while eating up a 2000-2004 mustang gt, biggest adrenaline rush of my life. I could compare it to being on a good roller coaster with a freedrop x 5.

Thank you for that nice information. That is good to know... Is it possible to get a "stronger" shaft i guess? Just out of curiosity.

Yes, there are parts to strengthen the tranny fortunately, although I still probably wouldn't do it. Here's the part that ZZP offers:

I've only ever had my Monte to the lovely speed limiter at 107 MPH. :P
The fastest i've ever driven was recently in my Dads 2002 Mustang GT, 140 mph, and then I let off the gas. It was at 140 is 4th in no time.
