I was thinking velcro when I just read the title of this thread and read the first sentence about how your sub was sliding around.... I don't see why it wouldn't work to be honest!
ok so me and my cousin have sub boxes that slide around the trunk. heres my idea tell me if im dumb. so i bought 8 pieces of heavy duty velcro 2''x3'' im going to only use the hook part and throw away the fluffy part.
Not dumb at all. I used velcro to hold my box in place for the longest time, works like a charm too. However, I have a suggestion for you.....your box is carpet, right? What I did is got two pieces of hook side velcro, removed the backing of each and stuck them together that way you end up with a piece of velcro that's hook on both sides. Simple lift the box, slide the velcro under it and done! It'll grab the carpet on your box and in the trunk and will keep the box from sliding around
