Well, I parked the Blue Tornado in the Parking Lot for 40 minutes, came back and someone was nice enough to have backed into me and drove off.

 

Sorry to hear about that. Some people have absolutely no respect for other people pride and joy, but I do believe in kharma so with any luck........

I feel your pain on this more then you can imagine. I have no doubt Karma catches up to people like that.

 

So, yeah that's going to be a fun fix. Maybe I can save $$ by asking my auto body shop to just paint the new bumper and then I'll put it on myself. Didn't report it since my deductible is $500 so all I would be doing is effectively raising my own rates.

 

That sucks - same thing happened to my 03 SS (but mine wasn't as bad). I had to get it repainted too - but we took off the bumper to save on labor.

I had one of those once. The person left a note though. it said "dear sir or mam, I accidentally hit your car. I am writing you this note so the people that saw this happen think I am leaving you my name and number. I apologize for the issue".

I was more upset about that then if they had just drove off.

 

I had someone do this to my car after I only had the car 3 days. It happen at my work.

 

Yeah, so it's going to be a paycheck or two before I can even consider fixing it. Annoying as hell.

 

I seen a guy come out of a doctors office stumbling,took off in his car and he clearly couldn't drive a standard,he managed to back into a van,hit a car on the way out,drove in the ditch then get stuck in the middle of traffic,he actually came back to say he was sorry then ended up hitting 1 more car before the cops was called
