Is the O2 sensor right in the line of fire from when the cut out is open? Looks like it to me, pretty skecty close anyway. You should put your eyes omn it now that you have a few miles on it. I just imagine jet hot exhaust gases shooting out from the cutout's mouth and melting the O2 wires.

 

it doesn't get hot at all. I checked it for the first week. I turned the cutout down from the pictures too so the cutout shoot exhaust downward more than it was. It was hitting the car in reverse so everything has been revamped since.

Yep you got it right. It's pretty loud through the mufflers still but is on another level with that cutout
