Default My first road trip

We took the monte carlo for the first long road trip since we bought it last year and I have to say the car did amazing.
On Thursday we drove about 400 miles south for a family re-union, then turned around and drove the 400 miles back north on Sunday. I averaged 23.5 mpg's(DOD disabled) with A/C running the whole time. It took us about 10 hours to make the total trip each way. We stopped for bathroom breaks and fuel, that's it, so the car ran for almost 10 hours straight with no breaks. It was mid to high 90's the whole trip as well. When we got out of the car neither of us had any back pain or aches at all. We are so impressed with the luxury this car provides on long trips. The duel climate control worked wonders lol.
It definitely helped instill some confidence in me with the car.
