Won in class at the 3 Monte Nats I attended. 3 time Chevyvettefest Gold winner and one MCACN Gold winner. Countless 1st places and best in class at local car shows - been doing this for 12 years now with the Monte.

I was hoping that more member's would have pictures of their Monte's with the awards & trophies that they received > won ?

Or pictures of their Monte's @ some of the shows they had their Monte's entered ?

I can share some pics since i haven't won much, but more than i could ever imagine
Don't go to shows to win, sometimes ya get surprised though and do
first award i won was GM nationals 2012 i finished 3rd




Then i went on to win first at oktoberfest in Sept. 2012



Then i won MOTM in November
in 2013 i placed 3rd again at GM nationals

And last but not least my most recent car show i placed 2nd

Pretty neat that these cars can still get noticed and win sometimes at shows nice to see!

 

 

I would like to post pictures of all my trophies, but there are none. I win these virtual contests. The BudChev was PFYC.com Monte of the Month, 2-time MCF MOTM, Cardomain ShowOff of the Week, and of course the ultimately coveted current reigning MonteCarloForum Monte of the Year!

But my car has never been displayed in a real world judged car show. And there is a reason for that. Legalities. I tow a fine line of what I can do logos and branding that I don't own the rights to. I know I can't make money off the car.

I have consider commissioning a Monte of the Year championship trophy. And without intentions of keeping. Y'know, get something to pass around to each year winner like a Championship Cup engraved with previous winners. Then I figured it would be kinda lame and arrogant. I can't bestow myself a trophy!

But I am a little jealous. I mean, maybe I kinda want one...

I believe that you can bestow yourself with a trophy `if you believe you have a winner (?) I believe you have a winner. This way you can choose a trophy that you like.

I believe the only judge that counts is really the owner. If the owner believes that they possess a winner, then that's all that really matters.
