If my parents ever were going to get rid of it, I would take it. But I doubt that will ever happen (they already regret getting rid of a certain black 00 SS )

Hey Mike what part of Missouri does she live in?

& I believe that I'm the only one in my family who has a Monte Carlo. My dad used to have several of them when he was younger & living in the city, we've talked about it before & it sounded like he owned almost every model between 1970 & 1980-something at one point of time in his life lol he loves montes so that's one reason why he decided to get me one

I'm the only one in my family that currently owns a Monte. I had an uncle who owned a couple different Montes. A 1974, and an 86.

Awesome post!!! Lets see, where do I start, we are a hardcore Monte Carlo family.

My Dad has a 71 Monte Carlo that he drag races:

My uncle's (my dad's brothers) each have a 70 (blue), and a 72 (black) Monte Carlo, both of them sit, and are never driven, but still, they have them, lol. Acutally, the uncle that has a 72 monte, also has a silver 2002 ls, lol.

My uncle (mom's brother-in-law) had a 71 Monte Carlo that was in MINT condition, he bought it after he sold his Buick Regal T-Type, but then he sold it for a project Camaro, he always buys and sells cars. But I can't find the pic, it was hunter green.

My mom has a 2006 Monte Carlo LT, its blue, but its more of a duller/darker blue than mine. She loves it, but she loves my SS better, hahaha.

My dad's friend, Terry, has a 70 MC that he drag races:

My dad's other friend, Brent, used to have a 74, but sold it due to THINKING he was getting divorced, but didnt, sucks:

Then of course I had my 84 ss that was stolen in 2006:

But after that I had a POS blazer for a few years before I could get credit to get my 2006 Lazer Blue SS. We are definitely a true Monte Carlo family, its pretty crazy, but Im not making any of this up.

My mother had a 2003 Monte SS in Victory Red. She loved that car so much and was upset when her lease was up. We were sooo lucky to find a used 03 SS in Black at the dealer. She decided to get it. It was exactly the same as her old one, just a different color. Well, now she has a 2010 Camaro and now I have the keys to the Monte. Couldn't be happier!
