My Aunt in Missouri has a Monte! She actually bought it about 3 months after I bought mine. Hers is also a 2006 LT.
Here is a pic of both our Monte's together when I took that road trip in Feb.

LOL, yea I like mine better too. Her's has a bluw pin stripe, which i'm not a fan of on these cars, and hers is bone stock, zero mods.
I didn't race her. But she drove mine, and floored it a few times. She said that mine didn't seem quite as smooth as hers (expected, mine had 102K on original struts at the time, hers has 40K). She thought mine handeled a little better for some reason (as far as throwing into turns) I think my Continental ContiProContacts are light years better than the OEM Intergrity, that and maybe the STB. Then She said it felt a little peppier for some reason, I said, well it probably is, I have a CAI and Exhaust. And she LOVED the sound of mine, she said she was jealous of the sound. In fact she told me I was an A**hole (in a funny, nice way) because I had all these extras, and I had a blue Monte. She said she wanted a blue one, but could not find any used ones in her price range when she bought. LOL

I do not have any family members who have montes, BUT I have made many friends, and even people who I consider to be like family though the car, namely the NYMCC...

couple years ago my brother had a 85 ss. it was very nice. had some engine mods dont really remember what they were he bought it that way. well he used to live about 45 min maybe an hour from were he worked. at that time the gas prices were almost 5bux a gallon here and it was killing him. he ended up trading a guy he knew for a neon and a lil cash.
i hate him for that and tell him how bad he got screwed. he says it was one of his worst decision.what hard times call for hard measures right. live and learn bet he never dose that again.
