Default Mirrors

So we have a sandblaster at school, and im getting better at it, but has anyone taken apart the side mirror assemblies? Id like to sandblast a bowtie into one and an SS into the other. Ill just lightly glaze it, but if its easy enough ill blast the chrome backing off the mirror an run a red light behind it and hook it to my turn signals. Any opinions??

Done, just went through the reflective layer. No lights would fit though...
