Mass air flow problems

So what would be unusual at idle.. I watched mine at idle and it jumps between 0 and 0.4. Is that normal? Also, while driving it seems to fluctuate while I do my best to keep the gas pedal in the same exact position.

That sounds reasonable to me. And while driving the fluctuations could be the torque converter locking / unlocking.

My 02 SS had the same problem. I tried 3 different MAF sensors and they all still threw a code. I wound up buying a used one off ebay, the same GM part number as the original and it's been working fine. The aftermarket sensors never seem to work right for some reason.
