Has anyone seen or heard of or own this car?

[align=center]2000/2001 Monte Carlo LS "SAP"[/align][align=left]Late 2000 model year, and some early 2001 non-LS Monte Carlo's got a "Sport Appearance Package".[/align][align=left]This consisted mostly of wheels from the 2000 Impalla, and the "blade" rear spoiler. They did not get the driving lights that the SS's have, instead staying with the "vents" filler panel.[/align][align=left][/align][align=left]

Ihaveall of the Monte brochures from MY2000 and up, and I do remember there being an LS model available with an appearance package. Can't remember exactly what year it was , but I think it was only available for that one year.

 

It was available for the 2000 and 2001 years only.

 

Very nice and seemingly rare level entry car.

 

i've seen quite a few actually, guy i work with has an 03 LS with the sport appearance package. pay attention when ever you see a vertical spoiler, if the car has 1 or 2 tailpipes. i was thinking of adding on a vertical spoiler on my ls untill i realized there is a ton of these 'sap' ls's running around.

at the moment i see there are 3 2005 monte carlo ls cars on ebay, 2 have vertical spoilers

 

Yeppers, I got one!

 

I used to own a 2000 black LS with this pack on it. Should have never gotten rid of it. Awesome gas mileage of 30 and above on the road along with being fully loaded with leater/spoiler roof etc.

 

Just as I thought. I'd love to find one in good shape and park the LTZ for a while.

 

Looks like a cool car.

But were they really as rare as claimed?
